Pierre Jacquot Co-CEO Read more
Pierre Jacquot is Co-CEO of Edmond de Rothschild REIM with over 25 years of experience in real estate. He also supervises directly Fund Management activity in Switzerland.
After founding Orox Asset Management in Switzerland in 2007, Pierre Jacquot actively participated in the launch and the development of the Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate SICAV fund. In recent years, he has contributed to the integration of the investment and asset management entities in Germany, the United Kingdom, Benelux and France. Since September 2018, he has been a member of the Executive Committee of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
Pierre began his career in the construction industry in various international markets (Hong Kong, South Africa, Hungary then Switzerland). Within the Bouygues Group, he successively held positions in engineering, project management, acquisition, real estate development and management. In 2005, he managed the Geneva office of Losinger Construction.
He is also a Professor at the Institute of Real Estate Studies in Geneva and the SVIT School in Lausanne. He chairs the Swiss Association of Real Estate Economy - Section Romandie. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Edmond de Rothschild REIM (France), a director of Edmond de Rothschild REIM (UK) and of various investment vehicles.
Pierre is a Civil Engineer by training and is a graduate from the Ecole Spéciale des Travaux Publics in Paris. -
Arnaud Andrieu Co-CEO Read more
Arnaud is Partner of Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management. He serves as Co-CEO, responsible for overseeing the real estate platform activity, directing operational investment strategies and coordinating Edmond de Rothschild Group’s real estate co-investments. With over 15 years of experience in Real Estate, Arnaud is CEO of Edmond de Rothschild REIM (Suisse) SA, regulated by FINMA and operating in Switzerland on a discretionary basis, as well as on behalf of segregated accounts.
Prior to launching Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate SICAV, a leading Swiss listed Real Estate vehicle, Arnaud was Vice-President at CBRE Middle East, advising on more than USD 10 billlion in hotels development and M&A advisory. He began his career at CBRE Switzerland focusing on Capital Markets and transacted on more than CHF 5 billion of Swiss acquisitions since then, in all sectors. He contributed to the launching of Orox Capital Investment – Added Value Properties, the first Fund structured by Orox Asset Management SA in 2007.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne with a focus on Finance. In 2011, he followed an Executive Real Estate Management program at Harvard Business School. Arnaud sits on boards and investment committees of a number of real estate companies. -
Theo Soeters Head of Fund Management Read more
Theo Soeters is Head of Fund Management at Edmond de Rothschild REIM with over 25 years experience in international capital markets and real estate investment management. Previously he held a similar role at Cording Real Estate Group.
In his career prior to joining Cording in 2018, Theo established the real estate investment management business of ING Real Estate in Paris from 2000 until 2008 when he returned to the Netherlands and established his own advisory business working for institutional investors in refinancing and restructuring for over 10 years.
Theo has managed two European logistics and industrial funds for ING Real Estate with c.€ 1.5 billion assets under management in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium and The Netherlands.
Theo holds a master degree in Economics from Free University in Amsterdam. -
Damien Saudan Head of Administration, Risk and Compliance Read more
Damien is Head of Administration, Risk and Compliance at Edmond de Rothschild REIM, with responsibility for coordinating administration and IT as well as overseeing Risk and Compliance for the Group.He has over 10 years’ experience in the private banking and asset management industry.
Damien joined the Edmond de Rothschild Group in 2005 and held the position of Deputy to the Head of Internal Audit before joining Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management. Damien has audited a large number of businesses in the Group during his career, with a focus on portfolio management, private equity and real estate.
Damien has a Master of Science in Economics (MScE) from the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne. He is also a Swiss Certified Public Accountant. -
Bert-Jan Scheffer Head of Business and Product Development Read more
Bert-Jan Scheffer is Head of Business and Product Development at Edmond de Rothschild REIM, after having joined the firm in 2022. He has over 15 years of experience in real estate, mostly as an institutional investor, having deployed over EUR 7.5 billion of equity capital.
Prior to joining Edmond de Rothschild REIM in 2022, Bert-Jan led the global real estate investment program at Shell Asset Management Company, the investment arm for Shell plc sponsored pension funds. In addition to his real estate related responsibilities, he co-headed the infrastructure investment program and also was involved in numerous private equity and (distressed) real estate credit investments.
Bert-Jan started his career at ING Real Estate, where he worked at the financing and development arms before joining ING Real Estate Investment Management’s fund of funds business. Here, Bert-Jan led investments across Europe and North and South America.
Bert-Jan holds a masters degree in Architecture (Real Estate & Housing) from Delft University of Technology and a masters degree in Business Administration (Finance & Investments) from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He is also a CFA charterholder. -
Benoît de la Boulaye Chief Investment Officer Europe Read more
Benoît de la Boulaye was appointed CIO Europe in July 2024. He has over 17 years of experience in real estate investment management on a pan-European basis working both in France and the UK.
Benoît will contribute to defining the business’s strategy and will oversee implementation of existing and new investment funds, mandates and ventures for the real estate investment platform at a pan European level. He sits on Edmond de Rothschild REIM’s executive committee and will also interact closely with the wider Edmond de Rothschild Group to enhance its position in the private markets space.
Benoît brings leadership experience managing real estate businesses for a leading financial institution and has been active in the industry for nearly two decades. In his most recent role, Benoît served as Global CIO for BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management (BNPP REIM) as well as CEO of BNPP REIM UK. He first joined BNPP REIM in 2011 holding a number of fund management roles in France before joining the London office in 2019.
Prior to this, Benoît worked for The Boston Consulting Group in Paris, and started his career in the finance and strategy department at the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations. He holds a degree in business with a major in finance from Paris Dauphine University and a master’s degree in management from French business school ESCP-EAP. -
Lyes Badji Deputy Head and Head of Fund Management, France Read more
Lyes is Head of Fund Management in France for Edmond de Rothschild Real Estate Investment Management and is responsible for the Regulated Fund Management business in France (including retail OPCI, professional OPC, FPS). He has 15 years of real estate experience.
Since 2012, there has been a period of strong growth in the French office, with assets under management increasing significantly, from EUR 0.2 billion to EUR 6.6 billion. Lyes has been responsible for the financial management, including securing and structuring debt finance, and the ongoing development of alternative investment funds. He also supervises and monitors the implementation of the strategy.
Lyes began his career in 2005 in real estate finance in London, first at Credit Agricole Corporate Investment Bank and then at Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2008, he joined Cleaveland as a Finance Manager becoming Head of Finance in 2012.
Lyes is a graduate of Université Paris Dauphine and he also holds a Masters in Finance from NEOMA Business School. -
Arnaud Benoit Investment Manager Europe Read more
Arnaud is part of the business and product development team, responsible for transactions with cross-border capital. He has more than 12 years experience in international capital markets and Real Estate investment management.
Arnaud started his career with AEW Europe in London (ex-Curzon) before spending over 10 years with London based private equity firm Resolution Property in different Pan European Investment and Capital Market roles. He has led and contributed to closing investments in real estate across all sectors, most geographies in Europe and across the whole risk spectrum (core to opportunistic). Capitalising on the strong track record of the Group and working closely with the local teams, his responsibility is to source opportunities as well as streamlining the capitalisation of individual transactions (single asset or portfolios) with cross-border capital.
Arnaud holds a master of science in corporate finance from SKEMA Business School.

Caroline Demol Fund Manager, SMART Estate Read more
As Fund Manager of SMART Estate at Edmond de Rothschild REIM, Caroline has overall responsibility for the fund which invests in direct, innovative, and sustainable real estate assets based on a conviction driven investment model. She has over 15 years of experience in real estate investment management across all sectors and regions.
Caroline joined the team in 2017, having previously spent 13 years at Franklin Templeton Real Asset Advisors (FRAA), in a number of roles covering investment, portfolio management, client relationships, fund raising and business development in the US, Asia Pacific and Europe. She was based initially in New York and latterly in Geneva. She has extensive market knowledge and experience in investing, structuring and managing transactions across all sectors.
Prior to FRAA, Caroline also worked at French REIT, Foncière des Regions in Paris and at Tishman Speyer in London.
Caroline has a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University in New York, a Masters degree in Banking and Finance and a degree in Economics and Accounting from the Université Panthéon Assas, in Paris. -
DJ Dhananjai Chief Investment Officer, UK Read more
Dhananjai (“DJ”) was appointed as Chief Investment Officer UK in April 2024, with oversight of all UK residential strategies. DJ has a 25-year residential track record covering design, development management, capital raising and deployment, and has investment managed large-scale global client portfolios. He has experience of both direct and indirect global investment strategies for pension funds, sovereign wealth clients, local authorities and insurance companies.
Previously, he was at Royal London Asset Management and CBREIM, with responsibility for strategy and investments in build to rent, affordable housing, senior living, and healthcare sectors. DJ’s early career involved delivering national housing programmes, acquiring surplus public sector land portfolios, housing-led regeneration strategies and mixed-use urban development projects. His career started as an architect designing and delivering low-cost housing communities.

Ralf Kind Head of Real Estate Debt Read more
Ralf is responsible for the development of the real estate debt business at Edmond de Rothschild REIM. He has over two decades of experience and track record in real estate finance. Ralf has acted as a banker/lender in the UK, German, Austrian, Dutch and Swiss markets, as a borrower/investor in private markets and as a borrower/issuer in the capital markets.
Previously he was CEO/CFO of DEMIRE Deutsche Mittelstand Real Estate and CEO of Fair Value REIT, both listed German commercial property companies. In 2013, he founded Arbireo Capital, an investment manager and advisory firm in the German real estate market. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Barclays Capital, in Frankfurt and London, where he worked in the Structured Finance Team and later led the Real Estate Investment Banking Team in the DACH region. Ralf started his career at PwC in Tokyo in 1998.
Ralf is a graduate business economist from FH Nürtingen. -
Alexis Mignonac Head of Investment, France Read more
Alexis has more than 10 years of professional experience in international investment management.
After working in property development, he joined the Asset and Investment team at DTZ Asset Management, focusing on the French office, logistics and residential sectors on behalf of value add and opportunistic funds. In 2016, he joined the real estate Investment team of Aviva Investors Real Estate France as Investment Manager Continental Europe and then as Senior Investment Manager, where he transacted c. EUR 2.3 billion of direct investments in offices, logistics and residential located mainly in France. In 2022, he joined Edmond de Rothschild REIM to lead the Investment team in France.
Alexis holds a Masters degree in construction engineering from ESTP in Paris, a Master of Science in real estate economics from Kungliga Tekniska Hogskolan (KTH) in Stockholm and an advanced Masters in Real Estate from the ESSEC Business School. -
Paul Munday CEO Funding Affordable Homes Housing Association Read more
As CEO of Fund Affordable Homes Housing Association (FAHHA) at Edmond de Rothschild REIM, Paul has strategic responsibility for identifying opportunities and ensuring that suitable investments are offered for consideration by the FAHHA Board.
Paul has held executive roles in affordable housing organisations for more than 25 years. He has experience as CEO and managing director in both the private and affordable housing sectors with direct involvement in developing and purchasing more than 10,000 affordable homes.
Paul has developed housing related funding arrangements of up to £500 million and 30-year investment plans of up to £1.6 billion. He has held responsibility for implementing and managing a suite of housing construction contracts with a value of up to £1.25 billion.
He is a non-executive director of Clarion the largest housing association in the UK.
Paul has a degree in Civil Engineering and a diploma in Accountancy and Finance. -
John Partridge UK Residential Read more
John has over 35 years of experience in investment markets. Previously he was Chairman of the Cording Real Estate Group, which he joined in 2012 with the aim of growing the UK real estate business.
John started his career as an equity fund manager before founding Morgan Grenfell Property Asset Management (latterly Deutsche Property Asset Management and then RREEF) in 1989, creating a series of UK property specialist sector funds.
He then became a director of the property forecasting and strategy firm, Real Estate Strategy Limited, before that business was placed into a joint venture with Henderson in 1993 to create a new property fund management business. He became Head of Property when Henderson was merged with AMP Asset Management, building and overseeing a global property investment business with operations in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, with a global range of investment products.
John then set up the independent fiduciary brand, Cordea Savills, in 2003 and had overall responsibility for the forming of a pan-European business through the creation of a suite of property funds, including specialist and diversified UK funds, specialist retail funds and pan-European funds. Savills acquired the management’s equity interest in Cordea Savills in 2010.
John is a graduate in Economics and Accounting from Kent University. -

Holger has over 20 years of experience in Real Estate. He started his career in property management at Metro properties in 2000. After holding different positions, including, including at Aberdeen Asset Management in Frankfurt am Main, where he played a role in asset and fund management from 2006 to 2011, and at BNP Paribas Real Estate as Head of Institutional Asset Management in Munich between 2012 and 2014, he joined the KanAm Grund Group in Frankfurt am Main in 2018. In his last role at KanAm, he was Head of Asset Management Benelux and CEE.
Holger holds a Bachelor of Science in European Business and Management from the European Business and Management School in Antwerp, Belgium.

Onno Scheij heads the Benelux office, of Edmond de Rothschild REIM with over 25 years of experience in portfolio and asset management. In 2022, he was promoted to Head of Asset Management for Edmond de Rothschild REIM. He is based in Amsterdam and held a similar role at Cording Real Estate which he joined in 2015.
Onno established the Amsterdam office of Horizon Netherlands in 2004 and was responsible for all Dutch activities, initially on an exclusive basis for Deka Immobilien but later also for clients such as BlackRock, AEW & Akron. From 2012, Horizon Netherlands widened its exposure to the Benelux as asset and investment manager on behalf of TH Real Estate and Warburg-Henderson. Horizon was acquired by Cording Real Estate Group in 2015.
Onno began his career in 1993 in property management at De Boer Den Hartog Hooft (currently Bilfinger) in Amsterdam. In his last role he was Business Unit Manager, Commercial Real Estate. In 2000 he moved to VIB (later Corio) where he was responsible for a portfolio of industrial and office properties in the Netherlands, and was Head of Valuations.
Onno holds a Masters degree in Business Economics and a Masters degree in Real Estate. -
Martijn Vlasveld Head of ESG Read more
Martijn Vlasveld is Head of ESG at Edmond de Rothschild REIM and joined the firm in June 2022. He has over 17 years of experience in real estate portfolio and asset management.
Prior to joining Edmond de Rothschild REIM, Martijn worked at CBRE Investment Management, as Director Portfolio Management and Head of Sustainability of The Netherlands. Before this, Martijn was employed at ING Real Estate as an asset manager in the Dutch and pan-European business.
At CBRE Investment Management, Martijn was responsible for a EUR 1.3 billion investment portfolio, with a strong ambition to increase the sustainability level of the assets. In addition, Martijn led the sustainability team of the Dutch business, consisting of professionals in the office, residential, logistics and retail sectors.
Martijn holds a Master of Science degree in Architecture, Building and Planning from the Eindhoven University of Technology and a post-graduate Master of Real Estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate. Martijn is an Advisory Board member of the Dutch Green Building Council and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Kristelle Wauters Head of France Read more
Kristelle has more than 18 years' experience in international capital markets and real estate investment management. After experience as a financial controller, she moved into investment and asset management in French offices, logistics and residential on behalf of value added and opportunistic funds from 2007 to 2012. She then, joined Aviva Investors RE France as COO in charge of European investment and development for the insurance company. She managed over EUR 3.4 billion of investment in France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Belgium in offices, logistics, residential, retail, as well as office and logistics developments. After two years in the shopping centres business as Head of Real Estate at Mercialys , she joined Edmond de Rothschild REIM in October 2021 to lead direct real estate in France and was appointed Head of France in 2023.
Kristelle holds a Masters degree in Finance and an MBA from St. John's University, NYC. -
James Whidborne Head of Residential Fund Management UK Read more
James is responsible for portfolio management, strategy, acquisition underwriting, transaction management and capital (debt and equity) origination for UK private rented sector residential.
Prior to joining EdR REIM, he worked for Savills Investment Management for 13 years as a Fund Manager overseeing a series of residential investment and value add funds focused in the student, strategic land and ‘build to sell’ markets. James started his career at Savills plc as a surveyor in the Affordable Housing Consultancy team, responsible for land agency, valuation, planning negotiations and he also worked in investment agency for the student sector.
James holds a Masters Degree in Real Estate and Investment Finance from the University of Reading.
