Cording appoints Theo Soeters as Head of Fund Management
Cording Real Estate Group ('Cording'), the Northern European real estate investment and asset management firm, has appointed Theo Soeters as Head of Fund Management as of 1 April 2018.
Based in Amsterdam, Theo will be reporting to Rodney Bysh, CEO of Cording. He will be responsible for fund management activities, which includes portfolio management, the alignment of investment processes, research and debt sourcing in Germany, Netherlands and the UK. Furthermore, he will support the development of new investment products and strategies and contribute his network to raise new funds.
Head of Fund Management is a newly created position in Cording in order to streamline existing fund management mandates and grow the assets under management through new mandates.
Theo Soeters is a seasoned real estate investment management professional. He established ING REIM (later CBRE GI) in Paris between 2000 and 2008 and has been responsible for various local and pan-European funds. Following this, he established his own business in restructuring and refinancing in the Netherlands. He has vast experience in fund raising and fund management as well as financial restructuring.
